DIY nail polish tray

  NAIL POLISH BOX

NAIL POLISH TRAY

I (Luna) Love to paint my finger nails and toenail's, but I am constantly loosing my supplies. I first had the idea of making one of these while watching a Moriah Elizabeth video, where she was doing dollar tree makeovers. I thought I could do something with something from dollar tree too. Then while I was making a super fun rainbow drip clipboards, I had leftover paint. I asked my mom if she had anything I could paint and she showed me this from dollar tree. I had a lot of fun making this into a nail polish box and so today I will show you how.

What you need:

  • A dollar tree wooden tray
  • Pink, purple, white, and blue paint
  • paintbrush
  • Paint pallet or plate
  • Nail polish
  • Other nail supplies you want on your tray
  • water
TIP: Cover your workspace in paper from a large paper roll or with newspapers for a much easier cleanup.
  1.  Start by painting your tray white. this will help you have to to less coats of paint on your tray. While the paint is drying, squirt your pink, blue and purple paint onto your plate.
  2. Once your paint had dried, paint the inside of your tray pink. Let the pink paint dry. Flip the tray onto its side.
  3. Divide your long side into two parts. paint one side purple and the other side blue. Blend the colors together in the middle with water. repeat on the other side. Paint the short sides all blue or purple.
  4. Let your tray dry and fill it with your nail painting supplies and your nail polish. Enjoy your nail polish tray!
That's all for today!
Happy crafting, Luna
