Splatter Crayon Art

Splatter Crayon Art

By Sadie Myers

I love making things with crayons (not that there my favorite art supply) but, I love how they look in some crafts. In this craft you get to have fun with different types of crayons. Thats what I like about it! For this craft I chose more metallic colored crayons.

You will need:

  • Box of broken crayons (any color)

  • Canvas (any color)

  • Glue gun with sticks

  • Hair dryer (make sure your Ok with it getting messy)

TIP: for this craft you might want to cover your surface with news papers or paper from a paper roll. If you don’t you might turn yourself into a walking melted crayton (and maybe the dog too).

  1. Start by gluing your broken crayons to the canvas with hot glue.

  2. Use the hair dryer to Melt the crayons

  3. Let the canvas dry (Its really that simple!!!)

Happy crafting!
