WIX, Canva, Blogger: Which one should I use?

So. Maybe you've been dreaming of creating your own digital wonder. Weather that's a blog or just a website, starting a website can help improve your writing and design skills. Maybe you are into all things tech. You might have been wondering what website software you should use. Well, today I am going to be giving you my hones review of three website platforms I have used. The three I will be covering are Wix, Canva, and Blogger. Let's get started!

1) WIX

First of all, Wix is for you if you want a drag and drop website design. A thing I LOVE about Wix is how easy it is to design a site on it. It makes having forms, community, a shop, and a blog SO easy. Wix is also free (it has a paid option). The free version allows you to send emails, have a blog, have a community, have a shop, and lots of other cool things. Here is a link to a website I designed for my sister on Wix

Wix free version pros:

- Easy to use

- Easy to design

- Easy to post

- Free

- Has free stock images

Wix free version cons:

- Has a Wix ad banner

- Only lets you send 50 emails per month

So basically, if you want an easy experience with design and posts, Wix is for you. Its free, its easy, and you can make an AMAZING website on it.

2) Canva

So this is the platform Crystal made her website on. If you want your website as more of a design with information or a portfolio type thing, go ahead and use Canva. First of all, having your Brand kit on Canva is helpful so you can use your brand kit to design your website. Canva is free so that is nice too.

Canva website pros:

- Its easy to design

- You can connect to brand kit

- Its free

Canva website Cons:

- Hard to post

- Hard to have a shop

- Designed with Canva ad

- Hard to have pages

- Can't have fill-ins (Subscribe, working buttons)

There are a lot of cons and I don't recommend using Canva for you real site, but making a plan for Wix is a great idea! You can plan the fonts and then copy the HTML and move it to Wix.

3) Blogger

This is the platform Destination Creation uses. I do have to say I love it, buttttt it takes time to get the hang of using. Its hard to do a lot of design on. It DOES make it easy to post though.

Blogger pros:

- Easy to post

- Easy to use

- Easy to add videos

Blogger Cons:

- Can't do much design

- Takes time to learn to use

- limited layout

Honestly, Blogger isn't bad but isn't great either.

So which one should I use?

Wix. You might ask, Why aren't YOU on Wix? Well, I got started on Bogger (MISTAKE ALERT) and now ALL my posts are here and If I move I can take my posts with me. So I would say, use Wix. Read the Pros and Cons and decide what you value. The choice is yours.
